What it is
I teach French literature and philosophy. For years I have kept notes to prepare my classes: a concept, an author, a work, an event. Each one goes straight to the essential, because it is meant for teaching.

These are not peer-reviewed, fully sourced encyclopaedia articles. They are working notes: uneven, sometimes dated. I publish them because, incomplete as they are, they remain useful. Check before you quote.
